Three Slat Tappan Side Chair

This elegant side chair–with three slats above and two rungs below the seat–has reappeared in production time and again over the history of Tappan Chairs. Sometimes with a straight back and other times with a finial, its current rendition with a comfortable bent back pairs nicely with the proportions of the three slat Tappan Arm Chair to round out a complete table setting. Shown in cherry with birdseye maple slats and an olive checkerboard seat.
