Important Ordering Information

PLEASE NOTE: Because we custom make each chair or piece of furniture to order, our lead time is typically 14-18 weeks from the date of order to the date of shipment. Moreover, shipping will also take between 1-2 weeks for regional deliveries, and sometimes 4 weeks or more for the western half of the United States.

Currently we do not sell or ship outside the continental United States. Shipping within New England is FREE on Tappan Chairs sold through our store and website--excepting only a few special edition pieces where a substantial portion of each sale goes to charity. In most cases, we will deliver within New England in person(!), and for the rest of the country we use a combination of USPS, UPS, FedEx, and a private delivery service, at our discretion. 

As all of our products are custom made to order, payment in full is due at purchase, and 50% of every purchase price is non-refundable from the time of purchase. Upon shipment of the final finished product to your address, the entire purchase price, including any shipping paid, becomes non-refundable and the purchased item(s) become(s) non-returnable.

In the event of a material defect or shipping damage which is present on delivery to you, we will gladly address such issues on a case-by-case basis by either repairing it or exchanging it 1:1 for an identical item, at our discretion. In no case will we accept a return that has not received prior authorization in writing by us. Moreover, to be eligible for exchange under these very specific circumstances, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
