This chair is a direct descendant of one of the earliest Tappan Chair models, dating back to the mid 1800’s. Long a favorite for its elegant symmetry and durable build, it has throughout its history featured three rungs below the seat–a rarity in American chair manufacture. Shown in solid cherry, with a natural checkerboard weave.
