This elegant side chair–with three slats above and two rungs below the seat–has reappeared in production time and again over the history of Tappan Chairs. Sometimes with a straight back and other times with a finial, its current rendition with a comfortable bent back pairs nicely with the proportions of the three slat Tappan Arm Chair to round out a complete table setting. Shown in solid maple, with tigered maple slats and a natural and teal checkerboard weave.
