Kickstarter: "Recrafting a Two Century Old Tradition"

In early 2014, we launched a crowdfunding campaign through the online platform Kickstarter, with the goal of helping us build momentum as we entered our second year of ownership. Among our goals in this project were the reincarnation of a lost "great" five-slat Tappan Rocker, and the introduction of an expanded range of fine furniture woods into our line. Along the way, we were named a staff "Design Pick" and later "Pick of the Day"--among all of the Kickstarter projects, worldwide. With the incredible and heartwarming support that we experienced from wide and far, we successfully funded this campaign--and these new offerings have become some of our best sellers.
