This stately side chair–with four slats above and two rungs below the seat–is among the youngest of Tappan Chairs’ styles, at a youthful 30 years old! A synthesis of its predecessor in the 1990’s and a “new” historically-based platform developed in 2014 for the Tappan Rocker, this graceful tall chair makes its presence known and noted at the table. For a full setting, an arm chair version is also available. Shown in walnut, with a grey cross weave.
