This spry side chair–with two slats above and two rungs below the seat–is one of Tappan Chairs’ oldest models, dating back to the mid 1800’s. Always with a “broomstick top” and bent back to its posts, this chair is small yet sturdy, and positions itself subtly in both kitchen and dining room settings. Its proportions pair nicely with the three slat Tappan Arm Chair to round out a complete table setting. Shown in black painted maple and ash, with a black diamond weave.
Our chairs are available in any of the woods, seating colors, and weaves shown at no additional charge. You may specify your preferences in the space provided at checkout, or we will be in touch to help you with your selection. We also gladly accommodate custom sizing by special request.
